Erika Pribanic-Smith has once again designed a stellar conference guide. We have some great programming. We will also auction off two Mike Sweeney paintings: once during the gala and once during the business meeting. Bring your bidding wallets! Proceeds benefit the podcast.

We also want to draw your attention to the chair panel called “The Future of Our History” set for Thursday evening of the conference. The History Division and AJHA leadership will attend, along with both editors of Journalism History and American Journalism. This will not be a regular panel. This is an open forum brainstorming time to discuss how our organizations can continue to advance the importance of journalism history through teaching, research and service.
